BBM FULLY ELECTRIC BLOW MOLDING MACHINES – Developed and produced entirely in Germany. Whether you manufacture packaging, technical parts or automotive parts, at BBM you will find a suitable and cost-efficient solution, ever present and assuring technical support. We also provide related services such as; overhauling of existing machines, machine upgrade, spares and accessories and technical training. Our long-standing partnerships with leading providers in these areas confirm the success of our strategy.
BLUE AIR BLOW AIR COOLING UNITS: - CAC Compressed Air Chillers that process Air volume from 120 to 540 Nm³/h at -35°C compressed process air. The Compressed Air Chiller replaces the regular blowing air with chilled compressed air (- 35 °C) inside the container during the blowing process. As a result, the heat is removed also from the inner surface of the container reducing material stress and cutting cooling time up to 50 %. This gives us a competitive advantage in the industry.
Blow Moulding Booster is a compact and light-weight cooling unit for special applications (e.g. blowing with small thin-walled bottles). Process air volume from 160 to 540 Nm³/h at 4°C compressed process air temperature
BLUE AIR-DRY MOULD SYSTEM (DMS) - creates a dry climate around the mould. Process air volume from 500 to 5.000 Nm³/h for single production machines and up to 15.000 Nm³/h for complete production lines and central systems.
BLUE AIR RESIN DRYERS - use pre-dried air from the compressed air available onsite network for the drying process which guarantees excellent results at a very low compressed air consumption. The Modular Resin Dryer RDL (hopper size up to 1.000 litres) is especially suitable for medium to large material throughputs (for throughputs from 30 to 500 kg/h).
Resin drying “Free of Charge” - The compressed air used to inflate bottles in an injection stretch blow moulding machine (ISBM) is of high quality and very low and constant dew point (-68°C). This air is then exhausted into the atmosphere without further use. The RDL-R resin dryer uses the exhaust air for material drying. Collecting the dry exhaust air this system assures continuous air flow and cost savings up to 80 % compared to conventional desiccant drying systems.
Heat and energy Recovery - The RDL-C system receives its compressed air from a built-in compressor. This system offers the advantage of recovering up to 70 % of the energy needed to produce the compressed air. It is reclaimed in the form of heat and used to pre-heat the material. Additional there is the possibility of integrating a larger compressor to cover the compressed air requirements of one or more production machines as well.
CYPET ISBM MACHINES - An innovative single stage process, set apart from conventional single-stage technologies. It utilizes a single clamping unit for opening and closing both the injection and the blow Molds. As a result, instead of using a specially designed machine, the process utilizes the clamping unit and injection unit of an injection molding machine base, converting it into a single-stage machine by integrating it with a stretch-blowing unit, a set of Molds and a control system. The stretch-blowing unit carries out the functions of transferring the preforms from the injection to the blow Molds, blowing them into containers and removing the finished containers. The machine can also be used as an injection molding machine, to Mold preforms, caps and any other plastic article whose injection Mold can fit inside the machine.
