PP/PS Sheet Lines for thermoforming applications
SML’s sheet lines are designed for the cost-efficient production of thermoforming applications like cups, lids, trays and blister packs at large numbers. With the inline and offline solutions provided by SML, both thermoforming companies and sheet manufacturers have the optimum tool to achieve high quality results in the final packaging product. SML’s lines for thermoforming sheet are fitted with high-speed extruders (HSE) or HO-LT (High Output – Low Temperature) extrusion technology, developed in-house at SML. A further technical highlight is the high-performance roll stack allowing to produce up to 3,000 kg/h per meter of sheet width.
