Ajit Gupta's entrepreneurial journey began in 1982, driven by a passion to secure a legal distributorship and
agency for innovative products from the USA, which he then introduced to the Indian market. This early
endeavor laid the foundation for Ajit Industries Pvt Ltd. (AIPL Group), which he formally founded in 1998 with
a clear vision to revolutionize the adhesive tape industry in India. AIPL Group's foundation is built on three
core principles: Strong people, Smart solutions, and Stable results, reflecting Ajit Gupta’s visionary
approach.
Under his insightful leadership, Ajit Industries has flourished, expanding its operations and establishing stateof-the-art manufacturing facilities strategically located in Sonipat (3 units), Bhiwandi (2 units), Chennai (2
units), Gujarat (1 unit), UAE (2 units), and Nigeria (1 unit).
With a workforce of over 1,000 employees, AIPL Group has expanded its global presence to Dubai and
Nigeria. Today, AIPL Group is a leader in its field, manufacturing over 400 types of tapes that cater to various
industries including Automotive & EV, HVAC, Wire Harness, Packaging, Signage, Surface Protection, Ecofriendly packaging, White Goods, Electrical & Electronic, Paper Mills and Labels, Conspicuity Tapes, and

CSR Activities:
• Skill Centres: We believe in giving back to society. To empower the local community, AIPL Group has
established two skill centers near our factory in Sonipat. These centers aim to equip underprivileged
individuals with valuable skills, enabling them to secure meaningful employment and improve their
quality of life.
• Adoption of Government Schools: As the CMD of AIPL Group, Ajit Gupta is committed to improving
educational infrastructure and community development. Recognizing the need for better educational
infrastructure, he has adopted 8 government schools near the Sonipat factory. Many of these schools
suffer from poor conditions due to delayed or insufficient government support. Under his guidance, AIPL
Group has implemented various enhancement initiatives, including building toilets, installing drinking
water systems, setting up computer labs, constructing inner pathways, providing benches, painting
classrooms, and installing fans. Additionally, the AIPL Group supports underprivileged students by
distributing uniforms, aiming to create a conducive learning environment that promotes educational
growth and community development.
• Women Empowerment Program: AIPL ABRO has launched "PAHCHAN SE SAMMAN". Under the
leadership of Mr. Ajit Gupta, this initiative enables women to work from home for 4-5 hours daily,
providing financial independence and fostering skill development through tasks like client calls,
scheduling, surveys, and feedback collection. This effort on Women’s Day underscores AIPL ABRO's
commitment to empowering women, aiming to enhance their independence and identity, bridging the
gap between family responsibilities and professional growth.
• Centre of Excellence: Under the Ministry of Skill Development, Ajit Gupta established a Centre of
Excellence. Initially focused on carpentry, this center provided training programs funded by the CSR
budget. The one-week program trained carpenters in new techniques, while the three-month program
offered unemployed youth comprehensive training in carpentry using the latest machinery. More than
1,000 people have received training through these programs.
• Support for Laughter Clubs: Ajit Gupta believes in the importance of mental health and stress-free living.
Understanding the significance of mental well-being, he supports local laughter clubs both financially and
physically. These clubs help reduce stress and promote a healthier community atmosphere.
• Phenk Mat: Ajit Gupta actively started the initiative named ‘Phenk Mat,’ where AIPL Group distributed
free bags to support environmental sustainability and education. Their efforts aimed to reduce plastic

• AIPL Foundation: Through the AIPL Foundation, we provide financial assistance to students in need,

• Covid Aid –Understanding the situation during the COVID-19 pandemic, Ajit Gupta took the initiative to
assist those in need. He created a special team working 24/7 to provide support, including supplying
medicines, arranging oxygen cylinders, helping with ration supplies, and offering financial support. His
dedicated efforts made a significant difference in the lives of many during this crisis.
